Ritual Basapa always connected collective memory Minangkabau people focused on two areas, namely Ulakan Pariaman and Sumpur Kudus Sijunjung. Rarely, the results of the study revealed that the historical basapa in Gunung Bonsu. Basapa tradition in this place, different to earlier traditions in Sumpur Kudus and Ulakan. The followers, usually climb Gunung Bonsu in Syafar month, to ask for a blessing, luckly, and mate. Basapa tradition is evidence acculturation between Islamic culture and the Hindu-Buddhist .
